How to dye cotton & polyester pants?
I need to have hot pink sweatpants without any writing on them. How would I dye Soffe pants that are 50% poly & 50% cotton hot pink?
I don't recommend using Rit Dye, especially since the pants have some polyester content. Rit Dye is just awful. I once dyed a pair of jeans with Rit and they turned my legs black every time I wore them, even after many washings. I finally just threw the jeans in the trash.
Dylon Dye is a much more colorfast, and works on poly/cotton blends. You can buy Dylon over the Internet:
