Yesturday some one had said they give thier baby solid table food at 10 months?
My son is going on 6 months and will be getting stage 2 here shortly and I wasnt planning on trying stage 3 until 12 months! I never thought a 10 month old could have any table food. So when are you suppose to start table food and what foods? And how much?
A baby physiologically developed enough for solid foods can have table foods.
My daughter has only ever self-fed table foods and we started solids at 6 months.
Most foods are okay to begin with. Steamed veggies, soft fruits, pastas, oatmeal, yogurt, cheese, etc. things of that nature. After those are mastered you can move on to harder things like crusty breads, and such. The only thing I waited on for my kiddo was obvious choking hazards like raisins and nuts. But even those she was eating before 1 year.
