Can anyone tell me how to remove the freezer door?
Just got maytag side by side with a ice and water dispensor, but it's too large with the doors on. I can not figure out how to disconnect the wires on the freezer door.
How are you going to operate it without the door???
To remove the door: Look on the top corner where there should be a cover. Under this cover are screws which will loosen the top of the door. Then you should be able to lift the door from the bottom holder.
Contact Maytag about the wires. They may be under the cover where the aforementioned screws are at.
