When mouse hovers over icon in task bar, how to display a picture of the window instead of the name of window?
I installed a new (legally purchased) copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. Before installing it, I could hover over an icon in the task bar, and miniature images of the all of that program's open files or windows would appear. Now (after installing), when I hover over the icon, only the name (of the file, web site, or whatever is open) appears. How can I make the images appear instead of just the file (web site, etc.) names? I had previously been using Windows 7 Ultimate as well.
You must have the Aero theme running.
You also need to choose a theme, or it will not display Aero features.
Right Click on your Desktop, and choose Personalize.
Choose a theme and click ok.
You should have your Aero features back.
