Where can I find a hotel/resort/banquet hall/country club etc. that will allow outside catering for a wedding?
Looking for a reasonable priced place to have wedding reception and possible ceremony that allows outside catering. I do not need a wedding coordinator (I am an event coordinator for Marriott so I can plan everything myself). My uncle owns a catering business and I really want to use him. Please help me find a nice place!! Thanks!

What about a reception in the lobby of the Museum of Natural Science? And arranging for the guests to tour the butterfly museum?
There are office building in downtown that will allow weddings in their beautiful lobbies. I'm sure they will allow receptions as well. Worth investigating.
Or what about a tented reception in a park? I've sure there are places that can arrange that. Or Bayou Bend yard and gardens?
You have to think "outside the box" and find a place that is not advertised for weddings. A place that you can rent for a special event, but that doesn't have catering staff on site. A museum? A beautiful old warehouse ballroom? etc.
