I just wanted to know,
if in a traditional victorian tea party you know, lace,doileys,finger foods etc.
if i do not have a floral tea set,
if silverware is appropriate.
i am willing to buy a tea set if silverware is not right.
so the question is.
did they use silverware tea sets in those days?
or did they just use porcelian and fancy china?
In those days, silverware tea sets were used, but not looked upon as high-end. But, of course, silverware forks, knives, and spoons are to be used for food. Silverware utensil sets with elegant, intricate designs look good with fancy china.
